Day 14 of 30 Day Recipe Challenge
Trail Mix: It’s healthy. It’s easy. Almost every body loves it.

- After school snacks
- It’s great for the kids lunch box
- On the ski hill
All it takes to make a great trail mix is a few high quality ingredients, a few minutes and a creative mind. Here is one of my favorite combinations.
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup dried currants
- 1 cup toasted coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup or less of high quality, organic chocolate chips
Gently mix all ingredients together in a big bowl. Store in air tight glass jars. I use pint or half pint mason jars so they are stored in smaller servings as it’s so yummy it can be hard to have just the right amount.
